Melissa & Kyle
Melissa and Kyle decided to have their engagement session in historic downtown Apex, a charming town with a busy railroad and a cluster of charming little shops along Salem Street. We found some cool old doorways behind a circa 1912 building, and stopped by the fire-station for some fun pictures (Kyle happens to be a fireman). We had so much fun with Melissa and Kyle, and it’s obvious to us that they are so passionately in love. We can’t wait for their wedding in April, it’s going to be amazing!
Thavy & Maarten
Well, it’s been a while since we posted anything to our blog. It’s the height of wedding season, and we’ve been keeping really busy here at the studio! Our newest post is an incredible Cambodian-Dutch wedding that we shot in September at Magnolia Manor Plantation. Thavy, a native Camodian, and Maarten, who is Dutch, met while working together in Germany. A certain length of time and lots of frequent flyer miles later (these two are jet-setters), Thavy and Maarten tied the knot during the course of a multi-ceremony wedding (four different Cambodian ceremonies and one Dutch-American). Their marriage was a meeting of two different cultures and traditions that were special to each of their families and friends who traveled from, literally, all over the world.
