We took a nice trip to Hillsborough, North Carolina to photograph Jennifer and Chris for their engagement session.  We met them at The Wooden Nickel, a charming little bar and grill where Jennifer and Chris like to hang out with their friends.  After we sat and talked for a while, we all walked around the streets of the historic district, past Matthew’s Chocolate Shoppe where Jennifer and Chris stopped in for two hand-dipped Fudge Brownie LocoPops.  They also enjoyed playing around in the fall leaves in front of the town courthouse and hula-hooping outside of the local hardware store.  Here’s a few snapshots from their day.

We took this bridal session to the mountain-tops, literally!  It is one of our favorite sessions this year.  The weather this day was perfect- sunny with a nice breeze, blue skies filled with pretty, fluffy clouds.  Shannon is a sweet, down-to-earth, uncomplicated Southern girl.  She enjoys the simple things in life, like hiking these mountains with her fiance´ whenever they feel like getting away from it all.  So, it made sense to shoot her bridal session at this breath-taking location.  We can’t wait for their wedding day next Spring!

We had the pleasure of capturing Ana and Bobby’s special day at The Wagner, a beautiful historic estate in the heart of downtown Clayton.  We hadn’t been there before, but it is a very nice venue with incredible backyard gardens and a cozy gazebo.  Ana and Bobby’s wedding was relaxed, as they chose to do a “first-look”.  Their day was filled with amazing details, from the bouquets and center-pieces, to the gorgeous three-tiered cake.  Ana and Bobby- thank you for letting us take part in your big day.  We enjoyed the two of you, your family and friends, and we wish you a lifetime of happiness!
