This is a re-post of some very special clients of mine.  I met with Laurie and David the other day to create their wedding album, and just thought I would show everyone again what a beautiful wedding they had.  People like Laurie and David make me really appreciate my job, capturing such a special day for a couple, and becoming friends with them in the course of it all.  We can’t wait to work with Laurie’s sister for her wedding this fall in New York!

Laurie and David are really a well-matched pair.  Laurie has an natural elegance about her, she’s stylish, graceful, and kind-hearted.  David is equally as charming and classy as his new bride.  So, complete with their friends and family, their wedding day was a big celebration!  After exchanging “I do’s”, the reception kicked off at Shady Wagon Farm.  Details of the night included a fun photo-booth, flip-flops for the guests to change into so they could dance the night way, homemade “party crackers”, and take-home wedding favors like home-made strawberry jam (thoughtfully hand-picked and jarred by Laurie and her Mom).  Their wedding day was truly special.  We wish Laurie and David a lifetime of happiness! 

I couldn’t miss a chance to walk down to Salem Street to see it covered in snow!  Lauren came along with me, with our chocolate lab in tow.  It’s just a couple of blocks away from our house.  I’m enjoying the beautiful snow while it lasts…

It was a brisk, albeit sunny winter afternoon, just a few days before Christmas, when I went out to photograph Victoria and Eric for their engagement session.  We strolled along the merry streets of historic downtown Apex, behind some old shops, and along the railroad tracks.  After that we headed to the park in Shepherd’s Vineyard, a special place to Victoria and Eric (that’s where he proposed to her!).  It warms our hearts to see a couple this much in love.  We’re really looking forward to their wedding this June!
