Laura & Charlie Engagement

I had a great time with Laura, Charlie, and their new puppy, Buckley on Friday.  We got lucky because the weather was just perfect!  We met at The Busy Bee Cafe, where Laura & Charlie had their first date.  After getting a few shots there, we got to walk around downtown Raleigh and Moore’s Square.  We can’t wait for their wedding this August!

Crenshaw Hall Show

This past weekend Crenshaw Hall hosted a mini show for brides. I had a blast! The vendors that attended were the following, Barton Creek Weddings, Cinda’s Creative  Cakes, Sister’s Catering, Enchant Duo, and myself. Below are some photos we documented from the show.

Pretty In Pink

The color pink was the theme for Lauren + Kevin’s March wedding at The Matthews House.  Pink, not only since it’s Lauren’s favorite color, but because the hue was a tribute to her maternal grandmother, who endured breast cancer while she was living. Lauren found her pale pink wedding dress on a mannequin at a trunk show benefitting the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, and instantly knew this was the one.  She also wore her grandmother’s vintage wedding band on her right hand. Lauren + Kevin’s creative guest favors, such as pink-frosted ribbon cookies, m&m’s in different shades of pink, and Komen’s “key to survival is early detection” flyers were used to promote breast cancer awareness.  Much love to Lauren + Kevin for letting us be a part of their very special day, and for standing up for such a wonderful cause!

This is so adorable! Lauren calls this guy Pinky. He’s been tagging along with her since she was two.
