Escape To The Mountains

It was a nice adventure traveling to Boone, North Carolina with Lauren and my mom, Patricia, to document Shannon & Darren’s wedding day in late May.  As hot as it was in most of North Carolina, the weather was surprisingly cool in Broyhill Park where they tied the knot.  I loved how they incorporated an orange and green color scheme into their wedding details- you know me, I love color!  I’m sure you’ll agree, Shannon is a beautiful bride…and Darren is a lucky man!

Sneak Peek Monday!

I was finishing up Kelly & Kortney’s romantic shots at The Gardens at Landmark when Kelly mentioned she wanted one more photograph of them with an umbrella. You know me, I’m up for anything. When I saw the umbrella, I was like HOLY COW!  Kelly had hand-painted the umbrella using her wedding theme colors, and wanted this picture to use for her thank you notes to her guests. Great idea guys!

Melissa & Ryan

I spent the afternoon in historic downtown Apex with Melissa and Ryan, who are getting married next summer at The Sutherland.  I really enjoyed documenting their engagement session and am looking forward to capturing their wedding celebration!
