Modern Glamour at The Umstead
I remember the time Lauren and I met for a consultation. She talked about how she met her fiance´ in high school and that he went to South Carolina and played baseball for the Gamecocks. I told her that I played baseball with a guy in high school who signed a scholarship with South Carolina. She was like, who is he? I bet I know him. Jon Willard, I said. Her eyes lit up, and she started to laugh, Jon is my fiance´, she said. I couldn’t believe it! Jon and I go way back, playing Legion ball together and against each other in high school. So immediately, we clicked.
Lauren and Jon married in a chic affair on the lakeside lawn of the sophisticated Umstead Hotel in Cary. Enjoy!
